All parents and carers can be part of Haughton Academy’s Parent Voice. The group provides a forum for parents and carers to influence the way we educate our pupils. The aims of the group include:
- Involving parents and carers in shaping learning experiences
- Gathering views and thoughts on our progress and impact
- Arranging social events and fundraising for investment in learning opportunities and experiences
- To play an important role in the Ofsted inspection process
The group meets up to five time per academic year, with two meetings in the autumn term; two in the spring term; and one meeting in the summer term.
If you are interested in being part of Parent Voice please contact Fiona Campbell (Assistant Headteacher): firstname.lastname@example.org

Ofsted Parent View
Parent View, gives parents and carers the opportunity to tell Ofsted your thoughts about your child’s school. The survey can be completed at any time, you don’t have to wait until the school is inspected.
Ofsted use the information to make decisions about which schools to inspect and when.
