Useful Apps/Systems

School Gateway

We use School Gateway, a software application (app) to support engagement with our parents and carers.

It’s the central hub of information about Haughton Academy. Our communications, newsletters, reports, timetables, attendance figures, and club bookings go through School Gateway. We currently still use Parent Pay for payments (see below).

You can download the app for free. Just search School Gateway in your App Store and download it.

Login details will be automatically generated using the contact information we already hold for you. Please make sure the details you provide us are correct. You can check and change your details by contacting Mr G Watson (Data Manager) at gwatson@educationvillage.org.uk or by telephone 01325254000.

Class Charts

Class Charts is a software application (app) which allows parents and carers to track their child’s behaviour, view attendance records and access scheduled detentions updates from the school.

If you have more than one child at Haughton Academy, you can access Class Charts information about your children, from a single-parent account.

We will provide you with a code to set up your Class Charts parent account. If you do not receive a code, don’t hesitate to get in touch with your child’s form tutor.

You should go to https://www.classcharts.com/ to register and activate your account.

For more information, you can read the Class Charts for Parents Guide.
