We care about you and we are interested in your ideas and opinions. There are lots of different ways you can share your views on how we do things.
We encourage all of our pupils to be involved in the School Council (also known as Pupil Voice). This group is crucial in discussing what’s going on in school and the things we can do to make it a better place for us all. The last year, the School Council has worked with us to introduce changes to the academy uniform, changed the food menu for break and lunch and improved our reward scheme for young people who try their best in school and in the community. School Council members have also been part of the interview process to appoint our Principal and Deputy Principal.
We ask every Tutor Group to nominate two pupils at the start of each term. These pupils then become Form Representatives (or Form Reps). They are responsible for supporting the Form Tutor during Tutorial Time and sometimes other teachers. Whether you are a member of the School Council member or a Form Rep you may still be called upon to give your point of view when exploring ways in which to improve our school.
For more information on being involved in the Year Council or being a Form Rep, please contact Mr s F Campbell (Assistant Head Teacher) on firstname.lastname@example.org
